Meriden is a non-selective, independent school for girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.
The size of our school (1,500 students) allows us to offer wide subject choice and an extensive range of cocurricular activities, while maintaining a steadfast focus on the individual student.
Each year Meriden ranks among the top independent girls’ schools in the HSC. The results of our younger students in external tests far surpass the state average.
We limit our class sizes to allow teachers to foster curiosity, initiative, perseverance and enthusiasm for learning.
As Meriden is a Christian school in the Anglican tradition, the values that are expounded in the Bible are promoted and modelled in the School, and form the basis of all decisions and interactions. Girls from other faith backgrounds are welcome to attend Meriden.
